Upon receiving a booking form, we will email you an invoice. Events costing £100 or less must be paid in full to confirm booking. A deposit of £50 is required to confirm booking on any of the hillwalking, scrambling and climbing trips costing over £100. The balance must be paid in full at least 28 days prior of the start of the trip. If you have to cancel, deposits will be returned only if we manage to fill your space. Other payments will be returned if you cancel more than 28 days before the trip, thereafter these will be returned only if we manage to fill your space. Should we cancel your trip, then you will be refunded in full.
The information you provide is required for our insurance purposes and to pass to your guide. We will not disclose the information to any other party.
You will need your general hillwalking gear appropriate to the time of year and conditions (see here
for more information ). Should you turn up without the appropriate gear, your guide may refuse to take you onto the hills. If you wish to borrow some equipment, let us know in advance, as we do have an extensive list of gear to hire or lend.
Please note that although you will be guided by a qualified mountain leader, hillwalking can involve a risk of injury. You need to accept an element of risk exists and you are advised to take out appropriate holiday insurance. Your leader will assess the group and weather conditions and may make appropriate changes on the day if required. This may involve a change of venue or curtailing a walk in poor weather, or extending your day if conditions and group fitness allow.
